Phoenix (2024)

Phoenix (1) Article
Phoenix (2) Combos

The Phoenix Fruit (previously known as"Bird: Phoenix Fruit") is a Legendary Beast-type Blox Fruit, that costs Phoenix (3) 1,800,000 or Phoenix (4) 2,000 from the Blox Fruit Dealer.

This fruit can be used to heal or support teammates along with the large AoE it brings. In addition, this is also the fruit that consumes the most energy. Phoenix is also known to be decently good for sea events because of the awakened [F] move, making the user able to fly and do small damage over time. Unawakened Phoenix is not recommended for sea events, as only the Z move can damage them.

Unlocking Phoenix Raid

This fruit has an awakening method different from other fruits. Normally, players have to purchase a chip from the Mysterious Scientist, but this one's different. Here is a guide on how to obtain:

  1. Obtain 400+ mastery on Phoenix.
  2. Talk to Sick Scientist, who is located at the Sea of Treats. The Raid Chip can also be purchased through the Mysterious Scientist, even in the Second Sea, after the player has purchased it at least one time from the Sick Scientist.
    • This NPC will sell the player the Phoenix raid chip for Phoenix (18) 1,000 or a physical fruit worth at least Phoenix (19) 1,000,000 or more.
    • Purchasing a chip with Phoenix (20) Fragments has a 2-hour cooldown.
    • The quest is permanent, so when the player switches to another fruit, the player can still buy the Phoenix Raid Chip.

Note: other players can still join other players Phoenix raids and awaken Phoenix without having 400+ mastery.

The user covers themselves in a huge bubble, healing themselves based on how long the move is held. The bubble will also act as a barrier that damages and knockback anything that comes close enough. The bubble gets bigger once in transformation and does not deal more damage.
  • An exception to this is players who are currently allied to the user, which will also heal along with the user.
  • Heal does not increase with Fruit stat because it heals based on max HP, with 0.8333% healing based on max HP per tick.

Has a 12 second cooldown.

The user dashes forward in a rift of flames. If the user comes into contact with an enemy, they will bring them up into the air using a tornado-like attack made out of phoenix flames, then crash back onto the enemy, slamming them to the ground, dealing AoE explosion damage with large hitbox.(Only when transformed will it leave flames on the ground that deal tick damage). Launching into the air without dealing damage means that an enemy has not been caught in the attack. It has a 9 second cooldown and consumes 40 energy.

The user can fly freely using the movement keys and is not steered by the cursor.
  • Stops energy regeneration while active.
  • If the user stops mid-air, blue and yellow flames will rain down from their wings, doing small tick damage.
  • Unlike other Beast fruits, when you press F in transformed form, the user will dash forward and claw at the enemy a few times before launching them away with a small explosion, this can be dodged. Unlike other moves, this move allows you to move even when you are still holding it.

  • Trivia

(Both V1 and V2) As long as you have stamina, it is hard to be killed due to the fact that Regeneration Flames (Or Blue Flames) can heal the player even better than Heavenly Blood.
(Both V1 and V2) Very good support fruit if used for fighting a boss or doing Raids, as it can heal teammates. This is somewhat a good fruit for non-fruit mains from its fast healing and ability to heal other teammates.(V2) It can also push away the npc making sure they don't attack you while you are healing your teammates.
(V2) Swift Flight gives you a huge upper hand against players who are using ground based fruits, as you can attack while you are flying.
(Both V1 and V2) Good for bounty hunting (Players can run away and heal to avoid Bounty / Honor loss).
(V2) Phoenix Awakened Tap can be used as a 2nd dash (3rd dash in Full Body).
(V2) Moves have very low cooldown, making it spammable.
(V2) The sixth tankiest fruit in the game once awakened due to the damage reduction and the fact that the X move will knockback any player attempting to attack the user while healing. This can be negated however with long range attacks.
(Both V1 and V2) Has stun immunity in certain cases which is good in PVP situations.
V move (Awakened) Deals great damage upon transforming.
(V2) Swift flight doesn't need to be held in order for you to stay flying, relieves your finger from holding F.
(Both V1 and V2) Drains energy slowly. The full form mode lasts for 7-8 minutes with max melee stat and the mode lasts much longer than Dragon mode (If you're not attacking).
(Both V1 and V2) Phoenix's (Not transformed) Z move can break Instinct. Phoenix's (Transformed) Z and C move can break Instinct.
(Both V1 and V2) Good for raids, as it can be a support fruit due to its healing capabilities.
(V1) It has the 3rd fastest flight speed when transformed (not 4th because Portal doesn't have a flight skill).
(V2) has relatively large AoE and high damage with its attacks.
(V2) Z move is an instant ken-breaking move, great move in PvP's (same for the transformed).
Good for farming sea events, since the user can stably fly preventing them from falling into the water, and especially good in teams as the X move can heal allies. (V2 only because Unawakened Z is the only move that can damage Sea Events for the unawakened version)
(Both V1 and V2) Full Transformation starts draining more energy as the player moves with it, and if the player is snapped out of the form, it will result in low energy or health, rendering the player not being able to run from the opponent. This can somewhat be prevented by using Cyborg (race).
(V1) Has only 2 actual attack skills.
(V2) Required 400 mastery and 1000 fragments or a 1M+ fruit for hosting the raid, making it by far the second hardest fruit to awaken, with the first one being Dough.
(V1) Not very good for grinding because it is a Beast fruit and not a Elemental fruit, and C skill is single target, making it also bad for Sea Events if you haven't awakened some moves.
(V2) X move is impractical to be use as an offensive move in PvP.
Knockback on this fruit makes it harder to grind.
(V1) Lack of stun moves, making Phoenix a below average attack support for guns and sword mains. This is only true for V1
In V1, it is one of the worst fruit for combos due to the lack of stun moves and inconsistency with other skills. This is only true for V1
(V2) Tap has a bug where the explosion won't hit the enemy.
(V2) Transformed F move is hard to hit.
Water, unless Shark V2 or V3.
(V2) It has recently been nerfed heavily (damage on all moves has been decreased, end lag was added to some, passive defense in Phoenix form has been reduced from 30% to 15%, Phoenix healing now reduces speed by 33% instead of 50%, etc.

The flight takes 100 energy.

(Both V1 and V2) Moves are hard to hit (except V2 Z). Has a small hitbox, and requires aiming skills, as well as the fact that it can be Instinct dodged.
(V2) Causes lag, as Z and C are the laggiest moves in the game, which surpass Blizzard's V and Magma's V. So it is not recommended for mobile users. (Tested, Blizzard's V causes lag for a longer time, but Phoenix's Z and C sometimes stun your screen or make Roblox crash.)
The best race to go with this fruit would be Cyborg, as X (Regeneration Flames) shreds your energy quite quickly.
Taking advantage of the energy consumption ability to get the title Empty Vessel is a great idea.
This fruit was renamed from "Bird: Phoenix" to "Phoenix" after The Valentine's Event.
Because the Damaging Flame passive and Infinite Flight passive on Swift Flight, you can stall above Enemies and get them damaged, making it an ideal way to farm money/mastery.
This is the first fruit to have a Mastery Requirement in order to obtain a chip for a raid.
This fruit is one of the only fruits (as of currently) to have ranged M1s.
The unawakened X move actually heals faster than the awakened version.
If you use awakened C or Z while using the unawakened transformation, your transformation will be cancelled.
Smoke also technically has an infinite damage move, but it is harder to use than Phoenix's awakened F move.
Interestingly, the awakened version loses the earpiece on your flight move, and attacks.
If you start using the transformed X move before being kicked out of transformation via low energy you will shoot the transformed version instead of the normal X move.
There is a trick that only mobile users can do which is they can use awakened F move and leave it infinitely.
Phoenix is the first and only awakenable Beast type fruit that has a base form in both Awakened and Unawakened
