Is there a big difference between farming simulator 19 and 22? ›

Though not a feature of the game directly, FS22 moved to GIANTS Engine 9, which has allowed for better quality graphics and sound. FS19 was hosted by GIANTS Engine 8, and was highly successful with it, but was often critiqued for lower quality graphics.

Is it better? Yes, on most counts. Better graphics, sounds, nicer UI. More crops and related equipment, more to do with crops with production chains.

Farming Simulator 22 is graphically and technically more stable than 23. Graphically, the maps are more realistic affording that rural setting. The inclusion of well-rendered cars and towns gives it an appealing urban feel. The farms, machines, animals, and harvesting process is much more visible compared to 23.

Verdict.... I would say wait about 6 months to a year for FS19 because at least for me now it is very boring compared to the extremely well modded FS17. If MR comes out for FS19 and maps are not glass smooth maybe then, but until that point if you have a well modded FS17 and like physics... avoid FS19.
